The Autonomous Community of Andalusia offers a unique phase in Spain that allows individuals with foreign degrees to be admitted to universities in the Andalusian District without the need to take the university entrance exam (selectividad).
If you want to study a bachelor’s or master’s degree at prestigious and internationally recognized universities, paying affordable fees (e.g., €900 per year for a degree or master’s), this is your opportunity.
Benefits of the Foreigners Phase:
- If you seek to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program listed at Andalusian universities, you will not need to take the entrance exam. You will be admitted based on your average grade from your secondary education (high school).
- If you aim to enter a master’s program, this phase will make it easier as the cutoff score tends to be lower than in the general phase.
Requirements to be Part of the Foreigners Phase
- Hold a foreign degree: If applying for a bachelor’s degree, you must have your high school studies homologated. You can find one of our articles explaining the procedure for high school degree homologation here: Link to Article
- Submit your application within the deadlines established by the Andalusian Unique District.
What Allows You to Be Accepted into an Andalusian University?
- Access to prestigious universities.
- Obtain a student visa that allows you to study in Spain, work up to 30 hours a week, do professional internships, reunite with your family, travel freely within the Schengen Area, and enjoy other benefits.
